A Picturebook Wedding brandishes our own style of wedding photography - Freestyle Wedding Photography.
It's wedding photography that simply lets you express your emotions without being inhibited by the prim and proper etiquette that is expected of a wedding couple.
It's for couples who want to break free from the norm and want their wedding photos to stand out from the rest.
Fresh, candid, relaxed, unposed, unscripted and most importantly FUN shots of your wedding. That's Freestyle!
The Beginning
The idea of A Picturebook Wedding was conceived by her founder, Ridz, one late night in March 2004.
Determined to rid the industry of the eyesore tacky studio backdrops and cheesy poses, the blueprints for A Picturebook Wedding were drawn out within a few days.
The objective was clear, to give couples something different and to initiate a change. A change that was long overdue.
Armed with a modest Canon EOS300D, some friends, an aspiring model and a bucket load of determination, A Picturebook Wedding went on her maiden shoot on the evening of 2 April 2004 .
Almost five years, nearly one hundred A Picturebook Wedding couples, forty-three A Picturebook Wedding babies, two lovely god daughters and hundreds of thousands of shutter exposures later, A Picturebook Wedding has definitely come a long way from her humble beginning.
Yet, her aim is still the same.
To be different from the rest and to give our couples what they really want.
Ridz
Photography and Visual Director
An industrial designer by training. A certain ironic twist of fate some years back led this devout Canon shooter to specialize in wedding photography and he has not looked back since.
Ridz exudes energy and a contagious positive vibe, evident in all his shoots, as he tries to get the best out of his favourite subject – people.
Not someone who conforms to the norm, he is always crossing beyond the traditional boundaries in wedding photography, clearly evident in his brand of freestyle wedding photography.
